Role Summary
The Analyst role at Ford focuses on Bill of Material (BOM) management, ensuring data accuracy and integrity throughout the product lifecycle. The position plays a critical role in supporting new product launches, engineering changes, cost optimization, and manufacturing efficiency. This role offers valuable exposure to PLM and ERP systems and cross-functional collaboration within a global automotive environment.
Key Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and analyze Bills of Material in PLM and ERP systems

Develop detailed BOM structures including assemblies, sub-assemblies, and modular configurations

Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely updates of product data

Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, production, and supply chain teams

Lead BOM review discussions and support engineering change management
-
Manage updates related to engineering change orders and product launches
-
Support inventory accuracy and material optimization initiatives
-
Identify cost reduction opportunities through BOM data analysis

Assist in system and process improvement initiatives

Support new product introductions through BOM validation and scrubbing

Provide training and guidance to team members on systems and processes
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration
Experience Required:

Freshers to candidates with up to 5 years of relevant experience
