Role Mission
As a Subject Matter Expert in Oven Software Development, you will act as the technical authority for embedded solutions and system architecture. Your mission is to define, validate, and optimize software solutions while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with global standards.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Requirements Definition
Define software and hardware requirements for oven control systems including traditional, microwave, and steam ovens.
Embedded Systems Consultancy
Provide technical guidance on embedded architectures, communication protocols, and integration with power electronics.
Validation & Debugging
Validate solutions through code reviews, bench testing, debugging, and system-level verification.
Compliance & Certification
Ensure adherence to safety, EMC, and certification standards such as CE and UL.
Knowledge Sharing & Mentorship
Transfer technical knowledge, best practices, and innovation insights to development teams.
Collaboration & Delivery
Work closely with Technical Leaders and Project Managers to meet project milestones.
Innovation & Technology Monitoring
Track emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions for future oven products.
Technical Skills Required
Proven experience in embedded software development for ovens or similar appliances
Strong knowledge of microcontrollers (STM32, ARM Cortex-M or equivalent)
Experience with RTOS and bare-metal systems
Proficiency in C / C++, IDEs, Git, and ARM toolchains
Hands-on experience with communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, LIN)
Integration experience with power hardware (resistive loads, BLDC motors, magnetron)
Familiarity with debugging tools (oscilloscope, JTAG, protocol analyzer)
Knowledge of electrical safety and EMC regulations
System engineering skills: analysis, troubleshooting, optimization, and security
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
Knowledge-sharing and mentoring mindset
Quality, safety, and innovation-driven approach
Clear communication and technical documentation skills
