Key Responsibilities
Electro-Mechanical System Design
Demonstrated experience in system-level electro-mechanical design within the consumer appliances domain.
Product Design & Development
Design and develop mechanical structures and components for consumer appliances. Apply strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and DFX principles.
Material & Manufacturing Process Expertise
Design parts for machining, sheet metal, die-casting, and injection molding processes.
Prototyping & Testing
Develop prototypes and conduct mechanical performance testing to ensure design compliance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate closely with electrical, software, and systems engineering teams for seamless product integration.
Sustainability & Efficiency
Incorporate environmental and sustainability considerations while optimizing system efficiency.
Manufacturing Support
Support transition from concept to production and ensure quality standards throughout manufacturing.
Problem Solving & Optimization
Apply analytical skills to resolve design challenges and improve product performance.
Compliance Awareness
Basic understanding of product qualification and compliance standards.
Technical Skills Required
Proficiency in CAD tools
Mandatory experience with UG NX or Creo 8
Exposure to CATIA is desirable
Strong knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis
Experience in consumer appliance product development
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
